Co-Op ProfileLaLuna Housing Cooperative is a "not for profit" community based association providing comfortable and affordable housing for its members based in Adelaide South Australia. LaLuna is a progressive co-op with an environmental ethos and a respect for the diversity of its members LaLuna Co-op was started in 1985 and currently has about 18 members and prospective members. We have approximately 20 properties self managed by the co-op in the inner Northern and Western suburbs within a few km of the city of Adelaide. We have recently acquired 4 double story mud brick properties in the Bowden area. The co-op is undertaking a series of environmental improvements to the properties such as the addition of water tanks, water saving devices, solar water heaters, as well as co-operative built passive solar improvements to the properties. The maintenance and improvements to the properties are self managed by the co-op members in conjunction with private service providers We are currently looking for a handful of additional members, so please get in touch with us if you are interested in finding out more us or joining our co-op
